This is one of the metal detectors that find treasure through vibration not sonar. These types of detectors are great for children to use as a beginner detector. They are durable and very light weight, it is easy enough a child can use.
The Vibra Tector is about 16? in length and weighs less than a pound. It runs off of a nine-volt battery and comes with a wrist strap to carry it better for a better reading. The Vibra Tector is waterproof and can be submersed in water; it is one piece for easy transportation.
The submersible feature in this detector is great. It allows you to find objects in places like puddles and shallow lakes and even some ponds. You place it in the water and if it finds anything it lets you know by the vibration of the detector.
There is no adjusting that needs to be done because the signal it sends back is a vibration, the other detectors use sonar so you need to be almost on top of the area that something may be in. They detect objects in a cone shaped formation just like the other detectors. The Vibra Tector is easy to handle and is moderately priced. Well worth the money you will spend.
